National Development Bank PLC’s 2020 Annual Report – “Everyone. Everywhere.” emerged as the joint winner in Integrated Reporting category across the South Asian Region, at the recently concluded Best Presented Annual Report Awards, Integrated Reporting Award and SAARC Anniversary Award for Corporate Governance Disclosures in 2020 – conducted by the South Asian Federation of Accountants. This award is an affirmation of the excellence that NDB has attained in integrated reporting over the eight year journey of such reporting at the Bank. The Bank additionally won a Certificate of Merit in the Private Banks (including co-operative banks) category.
These 2 regional awards come to NDB in the aftermath of having won 8 awards in total for the 2020 Annual Report, 4 awards at the CA Sri Lanka Annual report Awards and 4 at CMA Sri Lanka Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards, which include the Gold Award for Integrated Reporting: Best Disclosure on Capital Management at CA Sri Lanka and Winner of Five Excellent Reports at CMA Sri Lanka.
