You should ideally;
- possess a minimum of 8- 10 years in Corporate Banking
- possess a degree in a relevant field or a full professional qualification in the accounting/ banking field from a recognized institution
- possess the ability to build, maintain and enhance customer relationships, identify and develop new business opportunities and close out business transactions
- possess very good negotiation and communicating skills
- Possess the ability to analyze financial statements, have an awareness of the macro business and economic environment
- Be a team player
You will be responsible for,
- managing a complex corporate customer portfolio. Prior experience in managing a non bank financial institution (NBFI) portfolio will be an added advantage.
- expanding and managing the customer portfolio with a view to promoting products and enhancing revenue
- structuring credit facilities and providing tailor made solutions to customers
- evaluating and recommending financial proposals for internal approvals
- monitoring and follow up of the corporate portfolio
- ensuring all internal and external rules and regulations are complied with
- maintaining and improving the quality of the portfolio
