EXECUTIVE – INTERNAL AUDIT – INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT
You should ideally;
- possess a full qualification in Accountancy / and Banking
- possess approximately 10 years experience in banking sector including credit ,operations and recoveries and or Auditing
- possess a sound knowledge on portfolio management , branch banking operations, credit, banking regulations, governance, risk management and controls will be an added advantage
- have an excellent knowledge in internal systems , report writing and analytical skills
- have the ability to meet reporting deadlines and multi-task
- be willing to travel outside Colombo (Continuously on very frequent basis ) to carry out audits and investigations
You will be responsible for,
- conducting audits on performing and Non performing portfolio, branch & credit operations and department audits) to ensure risks are assessed, controlled and are compliant with Internal policies and regulations
- providing support to finalize the audit reports, and ensure that adequate audit evidences are gathered to support audit findings /recommendations with a view to adding value whilst maintaining the quality of audit work
- analyzing portfolio trends ,industry best practices and suggesting improvements and recommendations to manage overall impairment
- writing & presenting clear & concise reports and conducting discussions with the auditee to ensure appropriate action is taken to close audit observations while quality of the output is maintained by the Department
- undertaking special audits/Investigations and assignments as requested by the Head of Internal Audit / Board Audit Committee / other Board sub committees / CEO
